OWConsoleLeague Qualifiers start tomorrow, don't forget to register!

While the PC scene for competitive Overwatch is way stronger, there are some ways to enjoy watching and playing on console as well. One of the parties that is helping make that possible: OWConsoleLeague.
eSports has always been stronger on PC. Without trying to put too many pcmasterrace vibes out, the pc market is just more profitable for game developers and event organizers. This means that gamers with top notch controller skills haven't had many chances to break through as eSports athletes.
And then Overwatch showed up, and the plan to have PS4 and XBONE versions at launch was received with cheers. Since launch, console enthusiasts have slowly but surely been building somewhat of a competitive scene for console. One of those parties is OWConsoleLeague.
Tomorrow, OWConsoleLeague will be holding qualifiers. The first of a 4 part weekly qualifier series, notable console teams such as TSQ and Erased Forsaken will be playing.
The interesting thing about Console Overwatch is that there is a very different meta, due to controller input versus mouse and keyboard. Torbjorn has extreme utility despite his console-only nerfs. Pharah is a true staple with her reliable projectile damage, and because McCrees are not able to shoot her out of the sky as reliably. Console Overwatch can be riveting to watch, simply because of the difference in metas.
Tune in to Twitch.tv/Overwatchconsoleleague tomorrow at 4PM EST, and if you're interested in signing up, sign ups close at 12 EST. Sign up details can be found on the OWCL Twitter.
