The Zowie Gamestah Overwatch League heads into its 4th round this week and we can expect the competition to get fierce as we get closer to the league finals.
The ZGOL is a weekly league open to all levels of Oceanic Teams. Open qualifiers are held every Monday with weekly playoffs on Thursdays. For 5 weeks teams are battling it out in an effort to solidify a spot in the League Finals in August. With $180 in prizes every week and $7000 worth of prizes in the league finals things are getting serious as we head into week 4.
Week 3 had JAM Gaming looking hot after a dominant set against Team Expert however things cooled down heading into a tense semi-final vs Untitled Spreadsheet. JAM we’re unable to break the champions who once again pushed through to take on Chiefs ESC after Chiefs had taken out The Wood Cucks in a good showing. Untitled Spreadsheet proved too strong once again, taking Chiefs ESC out in a clean sweep to continue their undefeated streak.
Powerhouse team Untitled Spreadsheet have dominated the competition so far, taking out Chiefs ESC in each of the 3 weekly finals and holding a firm grasp on that top spot, however with consistently good games by JAM Gaming and The Wood Cucks the competition is closer than ever, and everyone’s hungry to take down Untitled Spreadsheet.
