Final King of the Watch tournament before release features new format

Reunited will try to defend their King of the Watch title in a new format that features a challenger best of 3, pitting MyDong and Sooner or Later against each other for the chance to take down last week's champion.
This week signals the end of the closed beta and the last King of the Watch tournament. The popular weekly tournament is going out with a bang, however. There is a new format that will feature a best of 3 between former IDDQD stars Pluppie and Mendo’s new team, MyDong and the up-and-coming Sooner or Later. The winner of this challenger face off will move on to the best of 7 final.
Whoever moves on will have a mountain to climb as Reunited are waiting in the final. The 3rd overall ranked team has a brilliant run of form recently, taking 8 of their last 10 sets.
Event Details
- Ruleset will be the same currently used in competitive mode
- Best of 3 challenger match, Best of 7 final
- For the challenger best of 3, the admins will pick the first map, in the final the first map pick goes to the challenger
- Tournament will be streamed at https://www.stream.me/kingofthewatch
- The teams will be playing for a $300 prize
- Matches will be cast by JoRoSaR and AskJoshy
- Friday, April 22nd, 2016 10pm CEST/9pm BST/3pm CDT/1pm PDT
