Shine replaces the old "White Light" skin which was outdated.
GosuGamers recently remade our design slightly where we use less images and more colours. This makes it easy to create new skins and if this one is appreciated we will likely make more new ones and also open for member submitted skins.
Beta mode means the skin is still being under development yet we wish to hear your feedback on the skin. In particular, we are still thinking about whether or not to keep the main background white (meaning the 'real' background, not the background in the content, background of text, etc).
If you have any other comments feel free to post them - please keep it constructive and remember that you are not forced to use the new skin if you dislike it.
You reach the new skin by Settings -> Skins and selecting Shine.
