WCS America's challenger league continued last night with ViBE, Neeb, hellokitty and Drunkenboi.
Every group so far in the Challenger League has had at least one Korean player advance, but this could have been the story of Group F -- not because of the fierce resistence of its native American occupants, but because there were no Koreans in it to begin with. Populated by ViBE, Neeb, hellokitty and Drunkenboi, the group features three citizens of the United States and one Canadian, a show of nigh unblemished purity, perhaps in opposition to tomorrow's all Korean Group G.
Neeb and Drunkenboi have garnered a fair deal of attention not just due to their participation in the latest edition of Shoutcraft America, but because they rose to take place of once American staples such as Incontrol, Idra and Machine. Next to them is ViBE, who unlike those EG firestarters, endured in an a harsh environment.
As they say, the proof is in the pudding. ViBE took the group 2-0. Neeb followed, not quite managing to trump the veteran. Drunkenboi and hellokitty keep the rear, but will go nowhere, with their 1-2 and 0-2 results.
WCS America Challenger League continues tonight at 00:00 CET with Select, Hack, Center and Apocalypse.
