Red Bull Battle Grounds is here, eight players will battle for the $50,000 prize. The tournement will take place November 23-24 in New York, the full address to be found here.
This will the fifth StarCraft 2 tournament that Red Bull will be running since their Red Bull LAN 1 in March 2012 and the invitational process for it has already begun.
Four players have thus far been announced, all of them bearers of Red Bull praises. The list is spearheaded by the Korean heavyhitters MC and Bomber (Battlegrounds Austin winner and runner-up, respectively) and continues with Liquid's Snute (Training Grounds #2 winner) and StarTale's Golden (Training grounds #1 champion). Those and four more players yet to be announced will be traveling to the Hammerstein Ballroom in late November, lured by the $50,000 total prize pool, the highest of all Red Bull SC2 events to date.
The hosting of the entire event will be in the hands of none other than Sean "Day[9]" Plott who has been a constant presence throughout past Red Bull events.
