After the Terran triumph last night, today Zergs answered in kind. Stephano and Dimaga ended up devouring the final group stage of WCS EU and left Thorzain and Feast out of the show.

Knowing this is to be one of his last tournaments before his retirement in August, Stephano gave up his best to orchestrate a great showing for the audience. From his signature late game swarm host/viper compositions in the series against Feast to the clutch holds of Thorzain's aggression in the winner's match, the Frenchman was a sight to behold. Six games later and times and times recovering from bad situations that could've ended his premiear league life, Stephano clenched the top spot in the group with a sigh of relief.
Second to him come fellow Zerg player Dimaga, who had to play a total of two series against Thorzain to reach the playoffs. While, five of the six games between the two ended up being the standard roach-centric ZvT, the very last one delivered a thrilling experience. Identifying Thorzain's habit to go for an early CC on the low-ground, Dimaga took a risk and landed a 10-pool, only to find with a cruel twist - the Terran had erected his CC on the ramp, fully blocking any zergling access to the main base.
Safe behind inches and inches of metal, Thorzain mustered a threatening marine army and marched out in search for easy targets and he would've found one if Dimaga had taken the decision to try and defend his third. Instead, however, the Zerg launched a critical timing attack that chewed Thorzain's economy dead and put the Terran on his knees. Mutalisk transition followed by a switch into roaches came along to finish the wounded Swede and eliminate him from the premier league.

These results mean that only one Protoss - Na`Vi's BabyKnight - moves on to play in the final bracket. Scheduled for May 25th, the quarter final pairings promise exciting times, seeing how fan favorites like MVP and TLO, for example, are matched against each other.
