Sen sweeps Capoch to start the day
The first series of the day was between Sen and Capoch. Game one Capoch went for an early zealot timing that was able to snipe Sen's third base. He then followed it up with an immortal timing, however Sen was able to force a large amount of force fields from Capoch which allowed his army of roaches to destroy Copoch's forces. Game two Sen kept Capoch on two bases while Capoch was able to make a push that destroyed two of Sen's expansions. Once vipers came out Sen was able to decimate Capoch's forces by abducting all of his colossus, allowing Sen to take the series 2:0.
Crank shows some stellar PvP
The second series of the day was between Huk and Crank, the winner would go on to face Sen. Game one Huk took an early expansion and looked fantastic going into the mid game. Huk then pushed into Crank's base but was force fielded in and lost his entire army. This allowed Crank to push into Huk's base and take game one. Game two Crank proxied a single gateway which allowed him to take out eight workers of Huk. Huk then tried to perform a blink stalkers aggression but it was crushed by Crank, giving Crank the series 2:0.
Sen just could not overrun Crank
The third game of the night was between Sen and Crank, which would see who would be the first to advance on to the round of 16. Game one was close till the very end with Sen teching to vipers in the late game to counter Crank's large colossus army. However Crank was able to convincingly destroy Sen's roach/hydralisk army and keep his colossus alive which allowed him to eventually take game one. Game two Crank went for two base colossus all in but it failed and Sen was able to counterattack and take game two. Game three went into the late game with Crank having an army of immortals and colossus to take on Sen's ultralisk heavy army, however no matter how much Sen sent he just could not kill Crank's army, allowing Crank to take the series 2:1.
Huk showed some interesting PvP strategies
The fourth game of the night was between Huk and Capoch. Game one Capoch went for a four gate against Huk's early expansion. Capoch was able to destroy Huk's expansion, but Huk was able to break out of his contain with a warp prism. Then Huk performed a fantastic play by dropping Capoch's main forcing a Photon Overcharge, then he pushed in to his natural and while the army fought at the natural he was able to destroy Copoch's main which eventually let him take game one. Game two Huk performed a dark templar opening which he was able to defeat Copoch by sniping all of his oracles so he had no detection and take game two.
Sen proves too much for Huk to take on
The final series of the night and of the round of 32 was between Huk and Sen. Game one Sen stuck to his winning composition of roaches and was able to mass up a huge army and with it was able to take game one. Game two Huk did not let it get to the mid game, he performed a timing with the mothership core and zealots that was able to destroy Sen's third base. Sen was supply blocked though so he could not make roaches, and so Huk pushed into Sen's natural and was able to take the game due to Sen not being able to make any roaches to defend. Game three was similer to Crank vs Sen where Sen massed a huge army of ultralisks, while Huk had a large ball of immortals and colossus. Huk was able to trade well however he lost too many immortals and just could not face Sen's re-maxed army, allowing Sen to take the series 2:1 and move on to the round of 16.
