Aces did what aces to best in today's SPL and Flash and Soulkey came in to seize the day, cleaning up Samsung KHAN and CJ Entus, respectively.

Samsung KHAN with the cheesing play of Stork who went for a double proxy gateway inside Zest's main and reduced him to four probes but through clutch surrounds and his mothership core, the KT Protoss won himself enough time to reestablish his economy, go into phoenixes and turn the game around.

Roro's 3-base hydra/roach/corruptor took the next set to tie the score but this didn't cause more than a mild inconvenience towards KT's ranks. Deciding there's no time for fooling around, the Ultimate Weapon Flash was released onto CJ Entus.

In all three match-ups, Flash employed the exact same principles: open with drop play whether it's hellbats in the Roro and Reality games or widow mines against Jangbi, defend perfectly at home and move out with a push so powerful it cannot be stopped. Neither of KHAN's players ever came close to beating Flash and the BroodWar bonjwa calmly pinned a triple kill to his account.

KT's decisive victory is all but good news for the team under HoeJJa's captainship. Having also beaten Woongjin Stars 4-1 in the opening day of round 5, KT are very close to pushing out STX SouL from the second spot, having just one loss more. Will STX indeed surrender their position in the table will be determined tomorrow as they go out to play Boxer's SK Telecom.

It was a Zerg fest over at the other series of the day between Proleague leaders Woongjin Stars and the 6th in the rankings CJ Entus. After 20 minutes of game time and one roach bust and one nydus play later, the score was tied between the two teams and Woongjin sent forward their go-to guy Soulkey to dispose of CJ's Hydra.

Another three one-sided series followed as Soulkey diligently cut through CJ's best. Soulkey used a ling/baneling play to crush Hydra early, overwhelmed herO with a nydus/hydra build and decimated Effort with a potent combination of queens, mutalisks, roaches and even swarm hosts to make for the second triple kill of the day.
