After announcing the addition of two players yesterday, Team Empire has announced the addition of Dmitriy 'LightOfHeaven' Kupriyanov, former Na`Vi player to the team.

The addition of LoH came courtesy of the benching of Ivan 'vigoss' Shinkarev who have been officially playing with the team since the 19th of March. LoH joining Empire was also no surprise to many insiders considering his contract with Na`Vi has finally ended and he is now officially a free agent.

Gosugamers probed Visar 'twiSta' Zymberi a few days ago when rumors started surfacing and twiSta confirmed that LoH has been scrimming with them for the past couple of days.

Empire also stated that they are looking to bootcamp in Singapore. No further details were announced.

Statement Dmitriy 'LightOfHeaven' Kupriyanov

Really happy to come on board of Team Empire. Going to explore new horizons.

Statement by Sergey 'Anahronix' Bykovskiy, Empire manager

I am glad to greet such a skilled player as Dima in our team. Together, we will move forward and try to show good results. Everything unsaid you will see through future showings of the team. Welcome to our team!

Empire's roster instability over the past two months have been the big factor to their performance decline in recent tournaments. The once strong and might horsemen, Empire fell into fifth place resulting in them missing the playoffs after losing four straight matches as The Premier League came to a close.

With the roster change, Empire is hoping to be invited to The International 3 or perhaps make a deep run in the western qualifiers.

LightOfHeaven was part of the legendary Na`Vi squad back thoughout 2011 to 2012. His fantastic plays as an off-lane player has dazzled many and led Na`Vi to a second place finish in The International 2.

LightOfHeaven went inactive after Na`Vi's roster change, swapping him for Kuro 'KuroKy' Salehi Takhasomi on the 25th of February and has not played in an official match since.

LightOfHeaven's role in the team is still unknown.

Current Empire roster:

Norway Visar 'twiSta' Zymberi
Russia Vladislav 'blowyourbrain' Morozyuk
Russia Roman 'Scandal' Sadotenkov
Croatia Damir 'Mitch' Skaricic
Russia Dmitriy 'LightOfHeaven' Kupriyanov
Russia Ivan 'vigoss' Shinkarev (inactive)
