The pressure was high and Team Solomid was shown just what their opponents were capable of against the now fearful Team Vulcun. Almost entering as a new team, Vulcun would try to bring the pain after easily taking out Counter Logic Gaming on the day prior, but they ran into a roadblock again Team Solomid.

TSM sieging excellently.

Team Solomid managed to take their lead to the extreme and put Vulcun back in their place, showing who deserves the throne in game 1...at least for now. Though Vulcun desperately tried to hold off, it simply wasn't enough against the force of Team Solomid.

Game 2 would almost show a polar opposite mode coming from the likes of Vulcun. While Team Solomid did show strong, static play in the early game, the emotion and passion rode high at the desk of Vulcun, and they set themselves on the path of demolishing the current top rated NA team.

TSM are not down for the count yet with this baron.

The later half of the game would prove to offer a glimmer of hope for Team Solomid and their team experience would shine through as they did manage to collect themselves and turn things around, at least briefly. TSM pulled an adequate job of taking down Vulcun briefly and taking the baron, but it just wasn't enough as Vulcun was far ahead and Vulcun would bring this to a nailbiting season 3.

One of the most important game between these two with pride and money on the line commences, going far more even than the earlier two iterations of this game. Where Vulcun showed they can go toe-to-toe in battles, TSM calmed down, shook off the last game, and focused on a aggressive yet delicately calculated objective based strategy.

TSM exemplifying their awesome tower pushing power.

As the game proceeded into the mid-late game, Vulcun's defensive would falter and their overall play would be seen slipping. Team Solomid's experience was shining through yet again and Vulcun seemed to have played slightly worse due to the pressure. After no longer being able to hold off the split focus of TSM and their insane grouped up fights, Vulcun fell and Team Solomid secured themselves a spot in the finals.
