-Update-

After hours of deliberation, RoX.KIS replied VP's challenge yesterday with a $1,000 wager instead of the proposed $10,000.

VP replied in a news post today that they are not lying about the showmatch and will reply play it assuming the team comes up with $10,000. VP went on to extend the challenge to any other teams in the world.

Excerpt from news post:

Our VirtusPro.org content manager which is currently on his trial period truly believes, that VP is much stronger than RoX.KIS. That's what he stated on his blog lately. Yesterday I've looked through the whole article and I made a decision that his opinion isn't right at all, but I also didn't find any insults or offensive statements. As a reply, RoX.KIS has announced a show-match challenge in which they were going to face us. We didn't get a single word by RoX.KIS' staff about their bad attitude on Ave's blog article. The fun fact is that right now I have all the RoX.KIS leaders and staff on my Skype's contact list, so probably they would message me if something went wrong.

It is alright, but we learnt about this challenge only from v1lat's private messages when RoX.KIS has already invited him for casting this one.

I'm actually not good with that approach from RoX.KIS' manager. They invited us but they didn't say when it is going to be happen and where. There is no reason to discuss those kind of things publicly. I made it clear - but if you don't want to accept it clear and you'll continue adding some «hot facts» on v1lat's stream, here's the pay - $10.000.

We weren't lying and we weren't trying to scare you at some point, we offer the same conditions for all the teams.

We're ready to take the challenge of $10.000 from all the top-30 teams according to GosuGamers and JoinDota ranks. The first team to challenge us - will play with us. If there's any American, Chinese or any other team that can't play during some internet connection issues - we're ready to discuss an independent LAN stage. We will discuss all the financial guarantees, the time and the date in a particular order. My offer is valid and our team can be challenged only for a month, you can find all the contacts on our website. If the show-match appears to be happen, we'll announce the second Ritmix Dota League season where me and v1lat will also announce not only the brand format but the bigger pool-prize as well.

RoX.KIS has challenged Virtus.Pro to a best-of-three showmatch after some smack talk from the latter party. VP declined the challenge and asked for money to be put on the line before considering.

It all started in a simple blog post by Vp.Ave, VP's news writer, in which he openly slandered RoX.KIS' second place finish in EMS One.

In the blog post, Ave mentioned that the outcome of EMS One would have been completely different if VP was there. Aye even went on to say RoX.KIS' one win against Na`Vi in the grand final was a fluke and it was only because Gleb "Funn1k" Lipatnikov played bad instead of them playing good.

RoX.KIS was fast to respond to the mocking through goodgame.ru by challenging Virtus.Pro to a best-of-three showmatch but VP put up a news post today declining the invitation.

According to the news post, VP stated that they would only accept the showmatch if there is money on the line or otherwise, it is just a mere scrim. VP also demanded to have a grand sum of $10,000 each as a wager before accepting the challenge.

When everybody thought the dust has been cleared, RoX.KIS tweeted, "the answer will come soon".

Stay tuned to Gosugamers as we bring you more updates on the conflict between RoX.KIS and Virtus.Pro.
