Scarlett to take break

The Canadian announced via Twitter that she will take a post-WCS and GSTL break to take care of her wrist injury. Rumor has it that she will be out for up to half a year.

North American StarCraft 2 takes another hefty blow as one of their most hopeful players, Sasha “Scarlett” Hostyn, announced to take a break from the game following the first season of the WCS and GSTL campaigns. The 19 year-old Canadian’s absence is said to last from two to six months, depending on the recovery rate.

Scarlett is currently seeded into Group B of WCS NA alongside State and viOLet and a fourth undetermined player. Her GSTL team Axiom-Acer is to play Prime next, after a hefty 0-4 defeat against FXOpen.
