Exciting times are inbound for ROOT, as the last two days have proven successful in raising over $25,000 for an upcoming team house in California that is supposed to host at least 4-5 players and their main content producer. The funds raised will mostly go towards one-way expenses like travel and equipment as well as security deposits.
The number one contributor by the end of the event was a user named “szymc1o, ” who decided to donate over $2,300.
In the course of the fundraiser, ROOT also revealed their latest addition to the team in the form of Sam “Kane” Morrissette. The 20 year-old Canadian has not been on display much other than his ladder performance where he is in the high Grandmaster ranks on NA. Most notably, he previously was on the teams Legion and pulse, alongside desRow and jEcho.
All the whos, whens, or wheres about the team house not clear as of now, and updates will surely follow.
