After three European-dominated qualifiers, South Korea finally sees a representative of its beat the preliminary round - Sung Jin "Shuttle" Choi, a Terran formerly of NSHoSeo and currently playing for Clarity Gaming.

Shuttle's first deep run in the WCS EU preliminaries was during the third tournament, where he reached round of four before getting eliminated by KrasS. Today, however, the Korean sliced through the opposition and laid prominent names to rest, Harstem, Tails and Targa among others.

The second winner is the somewhat unfamiliar to the wide public name of Siw from Team Empire. The Russian Protoss took down Xigua, NightEnd, Welmu and Xlord before finally reaching the top two and becoming the last player to qualify for the WCS EU Premier League.

The drawings of the premier league groups are to be done within the following days as the competition starts April 23rd.
