WCS NA groups announced

The venerable NesTea comes as one of the five Korean invites that'll participate in the WCS NA Premier League

MLG just released the first group stage for the WCS NA Premier circuit. Each pool is 3/4 full, more players to come from the qualifiers starting this weekend.

As no residency requirement is in place, WCS NA sees an insurge of players outside the American region, with the Korean contingent being especially strong. Five Korean players received an automatic invite into the premier league, including three times GSL champion NesTea, two times DH Winter winner HerO, Assembly Winter '12 champion Polt, IEM Sao Paulo '12 conqueror Violet and GSL semi-finalist Ryung.

More players outside the American continent have also found their way into WCS NA, including Moonglade (Australia), SEn (Taiwan) and Snute (Norway). Thus, the non-American quota will be at least one fourth of the entire Premier League line-up.

Every group will get its fourth player after the completion of the special qualifiers, the first one scheduled for April 20th.
