After enjoying two hard-fought victories in week one, the joint roster suffered crushing defeat today and are even more behind than at the start of the round.

Two PvZs opened the series between EG-TL and Team 8, neither of which went particularly well for the former. After repelling a 3-base Hydra aggression, HerO decided that he can out-baserace TRUE but the army and building spread of t he Zerg proved him wrong. In game two, Jaedong opened with the ballsy decision to take the gold base in the center of Fighting Spirit but as he could not protect it against the Phoenix/Blink composition of Argo, EG-TL were put to a 0-2.

Despite winning both week one games he played and showing overall great form (as well as pulling off crazy plays like this ), Alive too couldn't bring joy for his team as his bio/tank could not overcome Baby's pure mech. Finally, ALBM's Roach/Hydra/Corruptor game in to punish JYP in game four and EG-TL were brought to their knees.

Although they led in with the very best they have and won the opening game, SK Telecom still failed to triumph over the second-to-last team in the rankings, STX Soul. Fantasy's Bio/Mine and Rain's Colossus/Archon compositions were the only one that were successful for Boxer's team and even mighty names like Bisu and Parting fell to STX's warriors.

While this was SKT's only match for the week, EG-TL don't have any time to rest. Tomorrow, the joint roster goes against KT Rolster, the team that has historically been their toughest opponents, dealing EG-TL three all-kills in three rounds. KHAN vs Entus is the other match to be plaid tomorrow and the week ends on April 16th with Team 8 vs Woongjin Stars.
