Azubu Sweeps NSHoseo 4-0 in GSTL

It was a good day for Azubu's GanZi. The ex-SlayerS Terran led the charge for Azubu and found himself still charging 4 games later.

Sortof, Sting, Jjakji, Tassadar -- four eminent players with another thing in common: a great familiarity with the taste of GanZi's boot. It wasn't pretty and it wasn't noble; GanZi stepped off his horse and began the executions. It was just one of those times when a player, possessed by some god, simply couldn't fail.

This victory is welcome one. Following Azubu's own 0-4 loss at the hands of Team Prime, there was a noticeable loss of spirit, an urgent need to reclaim lost honor.

Today's all kill was GanZi's first ever, an event not exactly uncommon for the SlayerS of their hey day, or indeed, any GSTL team. Azubu needed this, not just for morale, but for the competition to come.

GSTL is not a particularly forgiving format. Stray losses are not given much leeway. They weigh you down far beneath what would count as advancing by the skin of your teeth.

On the other side is New Star Hoseo, now having been obliterated twice in a row, the first to this season's favorite, Startale, an 0-4 loss delivered by ST.Sound. For NSH the rest of this season will be fought tooth and nail. They are down 0-8 in map score, -8 in points. Their future is grim.
