Life carries StarTale to 4-2 over Prime

The Zerg prodigy was in top form once again and stepped in for a tripe kill to help his team get climb to the top of the GSTL table.

Before they could come out victorious, however, StarTale did have to start with a loss. In the opening game against MarineKing, ST's Golden chose the path of mass Baneling plays but after getting scouted in time, he could never deal the desired amount of damage. Although MKP suffered some Hellion casualties, his mid-game presence was exquisite and Golden was completely shut down.

Despite holding his ground against the Baneling waves well, MarineKing tasted defeat at the hands of simple Blink Stalker attack and passed the stick to Maru. In a very standard Bio vs Colossus match-up, Maru returned the lead back to Prime. Down 1-2, StarTale decided to go for the big guns.

Thus came the battle of the youngsters which ended up being Life's biggest challenge today. After 34 minutes of back-and-forth macro ZvT, Life finally prevailed after trading his entire army for one of Maru's and remaxing immediately after.

The next two sets were much easier for the ultimate 2012 champion. Abusing Creator's complete lack of Storms, Life ravished the Protoss air force for the 3-2 and took a Baneling/Roach all-in to ByuN's face for the closing victory. By dropping just two games in two matches, StarTale become the current undisputed leaders of the rankings.
