Team line-up for TeamStory Cup completed

Mill, Karont3, MVP, Quantic and ROOT join the four invites to finalize the team pool for the first ever TeamStory Cup. $20,000 are to be distributed among the top four finishers.

The TeamStory tournament was first announced on March 6th during IEM World Championship. Four invited teams - Liquid, Acer, Axiom and Mouz - were revealed as well as the format, a Bo9 all-kill.

What sets TeamStory Cup apart from other team leagues (besides the implied uniqueness of the HomeStory Cup brand), is the concept of a "joker" - a player who is normally a member of another team but who can be added to a TeamStory Cup roster for the entire season. Examples from the qualifiers include Socke playing for Karont3, Grubby for FXO Korea and Slivko for RoxKis.

After the round-robin stage, the top four teams will be flown to Krefeld, Germany for the offline playoffs. Those four teams will also be the ones to take home a share of the $20,000 prize pool, with the champion banking half that amount.

Still no date has been set for the start of the tournament.
