ESET UK Masters Group C/D Results: Team Liquid Zergs top the groups

The final two groups of the day have ended with all three Team Liquid zergs taking the top spots in their respective groups.

Group C saw young terran HeRoMaRinE prove himself to one of the most talented rising stars in Europe by wrecking all opposition in his group as he went 5-0. Crank just managed to secure 3rd place in the group and a spot in tomorrows bracket as Koreans continue to struggle at this event against fierce opposition from European players. Dignitas' zerg Tefel has proven himself to be a dark horse so far in this tournament with an almost flawless run, taking a win over the korean and just narrowly losing a series to HeRoMaRinE

Ret ended what has almost been a perfect day for the Team Liquid, sitting comfortably at the top of his group. He will join his 2 team mates and HeRoMaRinE in the Ro8 tomorrow giving TL a very high chance of three Top 4 finishes. The final top spots for advancement in the group were heavily contested but in the end NightEnD and Ziktomini won out, giving one more glimmer of hope for British fans to see a local winner on home soil.

So far the bracket looks as below, with the 4 first place finishers being directly seeded into the Ro8. Due to their poor results in the groups, the remaining 2 koreans will face off in the next round where only one can advance.
