I don't understand why matters concerning offers/salaries are so secretive in eSports. If anything, divulging the information after a contract has been signed would make competition amongst teams increase, which is beneficial and not detrimental to eSports...

#4 I can understand why it is so secret. If Stephano gets X amount of money and EG wants to recruit Scarlett for Y amount of money, but Scarlett thinks that she is better than Stephano and want atleast X amount of money, because of the fact that she think she is better. Now lets say that EG would not be able to pay more than Y amount of money, then Scarlett would not get on EG and, EG would be able to get a good player. Now lets say that Scarlett did not know that Stephano got X amount of money and she said Y amount of money sounds good, then Scarlett would be on EG and, EG would get a great player Win-Win situation. Also i think that i would be bad for the player market, that everyone knew each others salary since everybody would compare each other and it would be much harder to get players for teams since players would not be able with offers the teams make, which eventually would drive Starcraft 2 E-sport right down in a deep dark hole. It is like this in the "real" world where if you sell a small company to a bigger company you will have to sign a non-disclosure deal so that you are prevented from even telling your family how much money you got from the sell, so that the big company will be able to buy other business, and the other business will not know how much the big company spent on the small company forcing then to speculate about how much money they think they can get, maybe they get more maybe they get less but they will live in a mystery not knowing and everybody will be happy unless you sell the company because you are bankrupt then you are in a bad spot. but the main point is that i think there is a reason why it is secret. Hope that you see my opinion.

#5 That makes sense, in a world where companies think about the greater good. Maybe I'm wrong but if player X don't know other players salaries, he can't know what is a good salary for his skills. This open the door to teams underpaying players. Not saying a team is doing this but just sayin'

This is what is wrong overall IMO. Making individual payments will not help the E-sports getting attractive enough for all players. I mean even if they arent exactly the same skill level. They probably put in the exact same effort more or less.
