The grueling four days session of Bigpoint Battle #1 came to an end with Team Liquid successfully despatching Mousesports.
Team Liquid gave viewers an allstars performance as they tore through their opponents in Bigpoint Battle #1 over the weekend to claim first prize.
The Americans faced Mousesports in the grand final, Team Liquid managed to outmaneveur and outplay the Germans despite Dominik 'Black^' Reitmeier's effort to split push to keep the team alive.
The first game ended in 33 minutes as Team Liquid's Gyrocopter started going out of control with a Divine Rapier in his inventory. The final score was 35-9.
In the second game, Mousesports looked to redeem themselves by picking up a huge gamble hero, Lycanthrope. The game went ugly very quickly for them with Team Liquid shutting them down on all lanes and started pushing Mouz's tier-three tower at the 21st minute mark. Mouz called "gg" two minutes later.
Final standings
1st place: Team Liquid 1,500€
2nd place: Mousesports 500€
Bigpoint Battle will be back with its second installment of monthly tournament next month. No exact date has been announced but the tournament should be expected to begin again at the end of March.
