The opening day of the event will present the first two groups and it is hard to imagine a pool more stacked. In Group A, foreign powerhouse Nerchio faces some of the best that Korea has to offer in Parting and YongHwa, in addition to famed Europeans Slivko, Lucifron and Hasu. Group B has harbored the European quarter of Socke, Mana, Snute and Vortix and sends them against Sting and Violet, both of which former IEM champions.
The highlight of Group C is undoubtedly the clash between SC2 veteran MC and reigning IEM champion First with Symbol, Kas, Ret and Xlord also there to up the ante.
Finally, on March 7th, there's what could very well be the group of death for this event, full of powerful players and community favorites. TLO, Stephano and Grubby have always been loved by the community but so has Mvp and with only top three advancing from each pool, Group D will be a shambles.
As you may already know, IEM World Championship - to take place at CeBIT in March 5-9 - will be the first ever offline premier tournament to use Heart of the Swarm, one week before its release.
