After a 1-2 loss to Woongjin's Flying, Stephano will have to endure the culling of the up/down matches. StarCraft veterans Effort and NesTea also followed suit.
With all eyes set on him, Stephano had a grant load of pressure on his shoulders. Although not in immediate danger of GSL elimination, the Frenchman needed a victory today to move one step closer to getting back to Code S or face the Up/Down sift.
Unfortunately for the foreign audience, Stephano's return to the upper clique was postponed by Woongjin's protoss Flying, who failed to make the Code S cut last season but is now slowly but surely advancing through the bracket. A 2-1 against Stephano today puts him one win against sOs away from joining the best 32 in Korea.
Stephano was not the only zerg powerhouse that suffered the same fate, however. CJ's ace Effort took a 2-0 beating from Lure and IM's NesTea couldn't close his 1-0 lead and let aLive walk out the victor.
Code A returns tomorrow with a day heavy on KeSPA heavy hitters as Fantasy, Rain, Crazy-Hydra, soO and Shine take positions.
