Code A: Surviving the culling

With Mvp's fall last week, other veterans were on their toes that they can too follow the legend out of GSL. Yet fortunately for most, such was not the case and names like NesTea, Rain and Fantasy lived to fight another day.

Full of names that long have been symbol of professional StarCraft (of new and old times alike), the last Ro48 playday of Code A was of special interest. As if this season proved something it is that no one, even bonjwas or proud winners of the NesTea award, is safe from elimination.

It was the evening matches where the better part of the stardom was concentrated and eyes were set on four pillars of game, their elimination but one Bo3 away. SKT's duo of Fantasy and Rain contributed to KeSPA's success from earlier and convincingly crushed their opponents, sending Zenio and Shine out of the GSL. It thus fell to NesTea and aLive to defend the eSF honor and the GSL veterans did great, both excelling with 2-1 over Trap and HS and not allowing KeSPA to have a flawless cleanup of today.

Tomorrow marks the first day of Code A Ro32 action and its battle stations for several high profile names, including Flash, HerO, Leenock and Sniper.
