As it'll have more of a showmatch feeling, the upcoming GSTL will differ in format compared to its predecessors. The eight selected teams - namely Prime, IM, StarTale, FXOpen, MVP, NSH, AZUBU and Axiom - will partake in a single elimination best of 7 all-kill bracket, leading into a 3,000,000 KRW winner-takes-all prize.
The tournament will be held in the days free of Code S and Code A competitions, Saturday to Monday, and the schedule is as follows:
February 16th 14:10 (KST) / Ro8 - Match1 : StarTale vs. AZUBU
February 17th 14:10 (KST) / Ro8 - Match2: FXOpen vs. Prime
February 18th 18:10 (KST) / Ro8 - Match3: NSH vs. MVP
February 23rd 14:10 (KST) / Ro8 - Match4: LG-IM vs. AxiomAcer
February 24th 14:10 (KST) / Semi-Finals
February 25th 18:10 (KST) / Finals
