The European organization released last night its last two Korean members, Han 'aLive' Lee Seok and Kim 'Oz' Hak Soo, putting the total count of active players down to three.
aLive joined Fnatic in January 2012 after a conflict with TSL and saw a major string of achievements, wearing the black and orange. From the beginning of the year till spring, aLive conquered IPL 4 and placed top four in Code S Season 1 and Iron Squid I. After this influx of achievements, however, Lee Seok saw a decline in performance, dropping to Code A and never making it back to Code S. With his international performances very much the same, aLive disappeared off the radars during the second half of 2012.
Somewhat similar, Oz too never bathed himself in abundance of successes and mostly boast a top eight finishes at OSL and Code S Season 2 as well as top four at MLG Summer Arena.
The release of aLive and Oz comes as a result of Fnatic's intentions to focus more on the European scene after it closed its Korean house on January 10th this year. The official statement says that this is not to be the end of the SC2 division and that two more Academy players are to be announced tomorrow.
