Azubu Frost moves on without dropping a game, while Fnatic escapes elimination from a surprise backdoor!

Azubu Frost one of the most dominant teams in the world continues to show the world that they are a team that only knows how to win. Whether in dominating fashion against Fnatic or just slightly trolling with a full ninja + Leblanc comp against Absolute Legends, Azubu Frost doesn't know the meaning of losing. Heading into the bracket stages tomorrow Azubu Frost, like sister team Azubu Blaze both proceed in a dominating 3-0 in the group stages.

Fnatic claims second in the group stage through a very clutch and exciting teleport backdoor with Kassadin to snipe the nexus with 39 HP remaining. A game as close and exciting as that deserves to be named one of the best if not the best game of 2013 thus far. Leaving SK Gaming and Absolute Legends to bid farewell to IEM Katowice. For those that wish to relive the moment or didn't get the chance to watch the game here is the last moment of the game with expert analysis.

With all that excitement out of the way these were the results of the group stages for day 2 of IEM Katowice.

With the playoffs less than 24 hours away the remaining four teams will be competing in a BO3 matches to determine who will will IEM Katowice. Matches will begin at 12:00 CET with Azubu Blaze vs Fnatic. As always, you can keep up to date on Coverage, Interviews, and VODs by clicking on the links above. Will the finals be a repeat of OGN Winter of the two Azubu teams facing off against each other? Or will Fnatic and Gambit Gaming step up to shock everybody?
