Just yesterday it was rumored that the Norwegian zerg will sign with TL and today it's made official: Jens "Snute" Aasgaard will don the blue of the foreign team for 2013.
Snute's came into the spotlight towards the end of 2012 as in the course of several weeks he took second at Campus Party Europe, first at ONOG i2 and third at Battle at Ministry of Win. Snute continued to improve as the year went by, coining a top eight at DreamHack Winter and finishing 2012 with a gold at HomeStory Cup VI, marking his first premier tournament success.
This is the first foreigner that Team Liquid have signed since acquiring Sheth in 2011.
- "In 2013 I want to become more consistent as a top Euro zerg, if not the best foreigner," said Snute in the interview for TL. "I also want to go to Korea and do well for my team. Most of all, I want to give SC2 my all in every moment of practice and work on my attention management and thinking pattern in-game."
