Orange to G-1 offline finals, MUFC out

Orange against MUFC, the repetition of the ESWC Qualifier match back in October. This time it was G-1 League, and the decisive last match before going offline with only the winner team.

Training time is over. With iG and DK already qualified for the offline finals of G-1 League, lower bracket has come to round 2. If you lose, you are out, if you win, you are in to play in Fuzhou. At the same time, winning would secure yourself a position within the top 4, meaning prize money. Last time Orange and MUFC met in ESWC East qualifier final, MUFC won with 3-1 against Orange.

Orange begins with outpushing MUFC. This is only possible because of the excellent choice of Keeper of the Light and Jakiro, two very good anti-push supporters. While MUFC completely sacrifices the offlane, Orange prefers to let Enigma try to get experience on the offlane, also denying some experience to the Lifestalker trilane.

MUFC's main problem turns out to be a lack of lockdown, with only few stuns available. Nature's Prophet's rough start and their decision to completely leave out Hands of Midas both on Prophet and on Lifestealer doesn't really help in this point.

Playing a single-target Lifestealer (net) against Manta Style Templar Assassin by (Mushi) and a Phantasm Chaos Knigh (Yamateh) increases MUFC's problems in the late game. As Orange wins the team fights, MUFC can not even try to attempt winning with split-pushes. Mushi's Templar Assassin pulls away too far for MUFC to catch up, first game of the day goes to Orange.

In the second game of the best-of-three, MUFC tries it with a quadlane, going aggressive. Leaving the safe lane empty and Shadow Shaman in the middle, they want to outpush Orange. Mushi & Co., this time with much less anti-push can only delay, not prevent losing the out two top towers.

However, they trade for that: Instead of Bounty Hunter, it's Naga Siren farming on the abandoned bottom lane. Bounty Hunter in the meanwhile pulls the Radiant's creepwave into the jungle. This way, MUFC takes too long to push towers, falls behind in experience and gold and then the picks work out even better for Orange:

Allowing MUFC to firstpick Dark Seer, they picked Naga Siren and Jakiro instantly. Song of the Siren together with Ice Path and Scream of Pain completely crushes MUFC's attempts to push any tier three tower. After the third lost team fight due to this spell combination, MUFC calls good games.
