By turning a 0-3 deficit into a 4-3 win, SKT's Rain advances to the OSL grand finals, making his perennial step towards the end of the royal road.

The series started horribly for the aspiring protoss player and a series of proxy 2-raxes, 1/1/1 and aggressive 2-base pushed put him one game away from elimination, a scoreline most unexpected to say the least, considering Rain's recent dominating performance. Down 0-3 to the slayer of the almighty Flash, it was all looking very grim for KeSPA's finest.

Rain was not even the slightest out of the series, however, and his comeback would commence on Ohana as another 2-base marine/tank contain by Last got stopped as chargelots and colossi stormed down the ramp the break the terran lines and turn the game around. Stalling till late-game and perfect storms got Rain a couple more wins, with game seven inbound.

Learning from games one to three and knowing that all he has to do is repel Last's early aggression, Rain took a defensive posture in his base, teching and waiting for the terran to make a move. Said move was soon ordered and Last pulled SCVs along with his bio in a final attempt to break the protoss. Hitting the worst timing possible, Last fell in the AoE pitfall of psi storms and colossi lasers, his army disappearing with the sound of a 4-3 comeback.

Rain's opponent for the OSL grand final will be decided next week as MC meets DongRaeGu. Rain himself shared in his post-game interview that he hopes to see MVP's zerg as PvP are just not as exciting.
