LGD send Orange to the Loser's Bracket

Chinese favorites LGD extend their winning streak at the tournament to sixteen victories after their two-nil defeat of Orange eSports. They will now walk away with a guaranteed cash prize with Complexity and Zenith to follow.

LGD employed their classic split push strategy with Yao's Invoker dictating the flow in the early and mid game while Sylar was able to catch up on his farm at the safe lanes after a poor start early on. Their experience gave them the advantage in the teamfights, where Kunkka and Night Stalker was always the focus while LGD only lost their supports during the fights.

Waiting methodically for Anti Mage to farm up a Black King Bar, Battlefury and Manta Style, LGD initiated the final push at 30 minutes and took the game after Orange failed to defend against a Ravage combo on Tidehunter.

LGD were able to seize the early game with a couple of kills on Mushi's Queen of Pain with the help of Disruptor's send-back spell and Beastmaster's Ultimate. The Malaysian powerhouse, however, quickly responded by sending Queen of Pain into teamfights instead of farming alone in a lane and Mushi soon took two triple kills back to back and an Aegis shortly after.

Both teams then went into a state of passive farm where LGD was able to get items on Morphling and Chaos Knight, upon which they eventually took the next few fights rather convincingly and later stormed the throne at 50 minutes.
