It’s Monday and that means that the two major Korean leagues once again pit their players against each other. Similar to the last face-off, a GSL Protoss prevails.

Once again the KeSPA players just weren’t up to par in the face of their GSL opponents. Even though the first map of the day was lost by the GSL Protoss, which later turned out to be CreatorPrime, both of the StarCraft 2 professionals moved on avoiding any upsets. He displayed a Blink-Stalker-heavy style that on the first map fared well initially against the Infestor and Ultralisk army, but later succumbed to the sheer power of Zerg reinforcements once the Zealot puffer was worn out. Creator played the second map in a similar fashion, but this time his 3/3 teched Stalker hat little problem with the Mutalisk, Zergling and Infestor combo. On the deciding map, everything looked well for the KeSPA player when his huge Overload drops went unnoticed and the Protoss army was out of position. Unfortunately, he didn’t do enough economic damage during this attack to avoid the impending counter attack.
The second match saw a KeSPA Terran struggle against a Zerg from TSL, presumably HyuN or Symbol. The class disparity between these two was obvious from the get go. The first map was ended quickly after a Terran attack failed and the opponent pulled ahead significantly. Even though very decent Marine splits kept the game from ending sooner, there was no other option than a GSL win. Equally one-sided, the second map ended in the favor of StarCraft 2 players, too.
From a fan perspective perhaps a little less interesting, the finals were fairly short and didn’t feature any major highlights. Creator won the first map pretty straight forward and had a drop in the enemy base during the attack of his opponent go in his favor on the second one.
