With the release of HerO's replay pack we already assumed that this edition of RotW will be Protoss-heavy. We didn't expect all games to be PvX, though. This is truly a feast for Protoss players and doesn't only come down to 1a2a3a.
1. MaNa vs Tarson
Terran fast expos with bunker defense sometimes elicit elaborate responses by Protoss players. Not so much if you're a sly fox like MaNa. Admittedly, his intense micro helped him, but the strategy used in this situation gives the term "walkover" a whole new meaning. But see for yourself.
2. Nimitz vs Monsteuh
When a Terran opens 2-Rax against an early expanding Protoss while pulling his SCV's, you usually don't expect the game to be a long one. Neither was this one, but it was given an unexpected twist when Nimitz went into full Honeybadger-mode and, to put it lightly, gave not a single f*ck about build order win conventions.
3. Cella vs LucifroN
After Cella tried a fast expo, Lucifron invited him to a Hellion BBQ, unfortunately as a main dish rather than a guest. 19 Probe kills later, the Korean returned the favor by roasting the Terran army with huge Psi-Storms and was thus close to an impressive comeback.
4. HerO vs Illusion
Psi-Storms play an important role in this game as well. As if he was trying his best Oprah Winfrey impression, HerO handed out the Protoss trademark spell like no other. "You get a Psi-Storm! And you get Psi-Storm! Everybody gets a Psi-Storm!"
5. HerO vs Sniper
All of us have seen matches whose outcome we didn't quite understand. This is definitely one of them. Everything was fine and dandy when HerO's Mothership had full energy and faced Sniper's Broodlord force. Two almost completely useless Vortexes and a dead Mothership later, HerO knew exactly what to do: simply kill the superior Broodlord army and then kill the superior Ultralisk army. How did he pull that off, you may ask? He's HerO, goddammit!
