Russia's Nikita "nicker" Pomadov wins the 244th edition of the ZOTAC WarCraft 3 Cup. The Night Elf terefore takes his third first placement in the soon-to-be five year old tournament series.
While the grand final ended in a convincing and flat 3-0 victory for the Russian against Czech Republic's Daniel "Cechi" Čechmáne, it was the semi finals that gave the most tingle.
nicker defeated the ZOTAC Cup title subscriber Hyo Sub "FoCuS" Eom in the semi finals by two to one. The other leg of the semi treated the fans with a slight upset when the StarsWar 7 finalist Artem "Cash" Shirobokov lost to Cechi two to nothing.
