The final table is set for the European Poker Tour's San Remo main event. Unheralded Australian Daniel Neilson has a large chip lead with 6.7 million chips. He will face mostly unknowns, but a Hendon Mob rep and the short stacked but dangerous Kevin 'ImaLuckSac' MacPhee. The Italian locals will be pulling for native Rocco Palumbo.
Day 4 and Day 5 starting chip leader Chris McClung had a rough go of it, doubling up his opponents regularly and busted in 14th.
Former gamer Lex Veldhuis finished 15th for €22,000 ($30,600 US).
Johnny Lodden was the unfortunate final table bubble boy, finishing in ninth place for €45,000 ($62,500 US).
