After a careful consideration by the event organizers, it was concluded that M5 was to be disqualified on the grounds that one of their players uploaded the replay of Game 2 (Moscow5 Vs Tyloo) in spite of receiving a warning from the referees prior to the start of Game 2. According to NS, due to ambiguity in the rules M5 ignored the warning and continued with the Game 2 upload which was when the organizers decided to take action.
Statement from NS:
"It is unfortunate that we weren't aware of us not having a right to publish replays. However, the tournament rules were written only in Chinese and no one warned us; it is something that shouldn't be done. It is also unfortunate that the organizers disqualified us for the first violation of the rules in the first group stage game" issued on prodota.ru
Since only two other teams namely Tyloo and WE constitute the Group C of the HFGL league, both teams go through to the quarter finals. After these turn of events, all teams should take note, abiding by the rules and regulations is the only way forward.
