IEF 2011 - the WarCraft 3 elite in $17,000 USD offline event

This Sunday, September 18 18 Korean WarCraft 3 players will battle for four spots for the three-day long International e-culture Festival (IEF).

Among them are ReMinD, SoJu, Lucifer, Sweet, FoCuS and even StarCraft 2 active players Moon and Lyn.

The tournament will feature a $17,000 USD prize pool, with the first place worthy of $10,000 USD.

Weilang "Fly100%" Lu, Xuwen "Infi" Wang, Huang "TH000" Xiang and Wenrui "JN" Zeng have already qualified through the Chinese qualifier.

AgFox player Nikita "Nicker" Pomadov and Pakistani player Bilal "Stud" Rasheed have been invited by the IEF organization. Sources to GosuGamers say that the list of invitations might grow as we move closer to the event.

The tournament, held in the city of Yongin, is dated to October 7-9.
