Yellow retires from progaming

On June 15th Yellow, real name Hong Jin-Ho, the KT Rolster (formerly Air Force ACE) team member and one of the best Zerg players in the history of StarCraft, announced his retirement from progaming.

Yellow, now aged almost 30 years old, started his career as a professional StarCraft player slightly more than 10 years ago. He was also know as a "Storm Zerg" due to his aggressive style and was famous for his competition with NaDa and especially Boxer. The games with the latter were always highly anticipated and often called classics.

Yellow, despite being called "The King of the second place" or just "The King of Silver" had a few notable successes on his account, like the victory in GhemTV FindAll Challenger Open Starleague in 2003 or BlizzCon Invitational in 2005.

On June 15th, Yellow announced that it was over and he resigned from his professional StarCraft career. He said that he prefers to seek for new challenges rather than to stay in one place for too long. He also thanked all his fans and all of the people who were with him for all his StarCraft years.

On the day where in the StarCraft world the spotlight belongs to Yellow, it is appropriate to look at the past and contemplate the days of glory of the "Storm Zerg".
