For a long time, the ZOTAC WarCraft 3 Cups were the only way to win prizes in ongoing online cups. But last Sunday, WarCraft 3 players and fans could witness the first ever E-Sports Central Cup.
While only nearly a fifth of the ZOTAC Cup prize pool, the $30 USD will surely attract more players than the past weekend's only 19.
Coming out victorious was the British Night Elf player WarchiefRich from the long-running German clan Deutschlands Kranke Horde, DkH in short.
The tournament series is planned to be held every other weekend. So stay tuned for an update from the 'ESC' nearing next week's Friday.
Update: GosuGamers was notified that the prize pool was $30 USD, not previously said 20.
