NE DotA Challenge announced

With the addition of a DotA team to their family, the website of team NORDIC eSports thankfully worked themselves deeper and deeper into the materia. Today, the project seems set to contribute further to the event scenery and announces a tournament for local Scandinavian teams.

Called NORDIC eSport DotA Challenge, the event will start out with two qualifiers, for which the registration is open. The most noticable condition is, that at least three players per team must be from Scandinavian countries. Winner and Runner up from each tournament will qualify for a twelve-team-groupstage, into which the following eight teams are directly invited:

This stage will be split into two Divisions with six teams each; the best two of each group will advance to a single elimination playoff grid. Questionmarks appear over seppo13 as the team misses on the list of invites. Instead, a so far unknown team with the tag SK.DotA, which supposedly has Loda and Pinoy in their roster, will get a guaranteed opportunity to play.The prizes from Raptor Gaming are five Headsets alongside 500DKK (~EUR70) by event administrator Ryze and will reward the winner only.

No concrete time for the qualifiers has been announced yet, though the time for the groupstage is set at the 4th of April this year.
