The favorites to win the season lost by a narrow 2-3 result against the Hungarian team sas.
The Hungarian team impressed many after their winning spree in last season's Division B. The previous weekend's match against raGe resulted in a 5-0 win, only to be followed up with a win over the reigning champions.
Two of the most renowned Hungarian players, Gergely "KaShu" Fincza and Valentin "Ace" Váczi both won their individual games. Ace could then finish it off with team mate Pez in the team game to seal the victory.
