Eugene Katchalov wins PCA Super High Roller title, Negreanu 2nd

Russian Eugene Katchalov defeated Daniel Negreanu heads up to take the $100k buy-in Super High Roller Event and the $1.5 million first prize. Daniel Negreanu battled back from a short stack and had 5's vs. 4's all in pre-flop on the final hand, but couldn't hold. Negreanu won $1 million for his second place finish at the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure High Roller event at the Atlantis Resort & Casino in The Bahamas.

Sandor Demjan and Andrew Lichtenberger finished out of the money, despite making the TV final table. Nick Schulman had a sizable lead going into the final table but didn't fare well on the day.

Day 1 A of the PCA main event began on Saturday and is expected to generate a massive prize pool of over $20 million. Last year's winner, 21 year old Harrison Gimbel walked away with $2.2 million.

There are 48 total events, many of which are between $1k-$5k buy-in events, including the World Cup of Poker, The Ladies Tournament, a $5k NAPT Bounty Shoutout, $5k PLO tournament, and the regular $25k High Roller event.
