The International eSports Federation and the International E-sports Festival's tournaments are both scheduled for October 28. This has caused a major schedule conflict for several players, among them Kim Sung "ReMinD" Sik, Xiaofeng "Sky" Li and Jae Ho "Moon" Jang.
The initial player list of the event in Korea, International eSports Federation, had the quad Lyn, Violet, Moon and ReMinD and the Chinese trio Infi, Sky and Fly100%.
But according to Tatazu.com, players have rejected the invitation to instead play in the Chinese event International E-sports Festival boasting with a prize pool of $17,000 USD, while the prize money for IeSF remain unknown.
The two seasoned WarCraft 3 players Yoan "ToD" Merlo and Kim "SaSe" Hammar's participation in the International E-sports Festival was announced by Tatazu.com. The list also holds the Finnish Orc player Santeri "Naama" Lahtinen, two Germans Eduard "VoShiX" Ebel and Tobias "Reign" Muth.
Note that some players have been invited to both events, and that neither list is as of yet official.
Russian site Proplay.ru have earlier reported of the Russian players Espada and Necro's inavailability to play in the International eSports Festival. They have been said to be replaced by Ukrainians TReSh and Sonik. Espada and Necro are instead said to play in the International eSports Federation tournament.
The Danish duo Rene "Ciara" Krag and Thomas "ThomasG" Glinski is reported to have qualified for the Korean event.
