This support comes in the form of a brand new tournament that they are providing a cash prize to the winner of. What makes this particular tournament notable however, is the fact that it is made up exclusively of Israeli-only teams.
The reasons for this are straight in line with Chrome Gaming's goals as stated by one of their founders, Yuval "Parr0t" Shelem, "When I started making our goals, my first intention was to show the world that Israel does in fact have an eSports scene, and it's a strong scene. The only problem today is that we are stuck between ourselves, and we are struggling to push out of the shell that we are locked in."
With this noble goal in mind Chrome Gaming hopes to further promote Israeli eSports so that they become a lot more prominent in the international eSports scene. Combine this with the fact that all Israeli gamers are honored that organizations like S2 are starting to support what they love, and the stage is set for the Israelis to start making some notable appearances on the Heroes of Newerth tournament scene.
GosuGamers will continue to follow this event and any other events that Chrome Gaming puts on in the Heroes of Newerth universe, but hopefully this is a sign of even more diversity in the tournament scene as HoN continues to grow in its first year of release.
