IEM: Invited players revealed for the 15,000 USD tournament

The full player list has been announced, 16 players to fight for the amazing $15,000 at IEM Gamescom. Six players qualified from the Go4SC2 tournaments, 10 more were invited.

The Global Challenge at Gamescom holds a prize pool of $15,000, where one third of that goes to the winner. The sixteen players listed to the right will in roughly two weeks battle each other for this big sack of money.

Among the invited players we find TheLittleOne, recent winner of the "King of the Beta" tournament, IdrA, White-Ra and WarCraft 3 progamer MaDFroG who is now making a return in StarCraft 2.


When and where
The event will kick off on August the 18th, and lasts until the 22nd in Cologne, Germany. If you are interested in going it will cost €29 for the whole event, or daytickets which are sold for around €10.
