From 29th July to 1st August, a total of eight teams will converge in ShangHai to battle it out to grab a split of the total prize pool of $12,000. Participants for this event will be made up of seven Chinese teams as chosen from their qualifiers along with a lone international team, Starsboba. Fresh from their WCG-Asia win, StarsBoba will strive to get another gold medal to add to their growing list of achievements.
While the teams for China are not confirmed yet, it is safe to say we will be able to see teams such as EHOME, LGD,sGty and Nirvana.GiGa.cn in the mix. A consolation to the relatively small prize pool compared to events such as ESWC is that all participating teams will get a small sum to bring home.
