Live Delay PerfectedFirst and foremost is the introduction of Honcast's perfected live delay software. After weeks of attempting to get the software to a working level, the final copy is ready to go live for this weekend's tournament. With this type of casting comes the joys of true live-casts without the hassles of pause and sync lag that often plague replay casts.
True live casting has the potential to bring out the best that the professional teams have to offer as they know that there is no room for error and that every move they make will be watched by the unforgiving HoN public. Perhaps this will bring out the A+ effort that some teams have been lacking in recent weeks and give them the opportunity to truly entertain the viewing public.
Multiple Live Steams
On top of delay software, Honcast will also be introducing multiple live-streams for their users to enjoy. This will allow for viewer choice and give Honcast the ability to showcase every match that is played in this tournament, allowing for increased viewership and also for more diversity in the shout-casting teams themselves. This will make for some exciting action as we all wait to see the results live of this upcoming event!
Schedule and Additional Information
As a final note, with all the controversy surrounding Milk's Neva sponsorship, it was up in the air whether the team would be allowed to compete in this upcoming event. It has been decided that Team Milk will be allowed to compete as their roster was only slightly changed by the departure of Pokedex to Team Loaded, and therefore the rankings will remain the same. For those who are interested in watching these exciting events, Round 1 is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM CET on Sunday July 11th with LOAD vs Empr on the first stream starting it off at the links below. Coverage will continue at 10:00 PM CET with SK-Gaming vs DrDz on the first stream and MSI vs MILK taking over after the conclusion of the prior match. Due to a scheduling conflict DWI vs KDE has been postponed until Tuesday July 13th at 11:00 PM CET and will be broadcast live on the first stream.
With all this exciting news coming out of Honcast, it is only fitting that the team at GosuGamers will continue to bring you the latest on the tournament results as they are streamed live for all to enjoy.
