Hayder "HayprO" Hussein took another DreamHack title today. His given nickname DreamprO was carved even harder into the Swedish scene after defeating Stefan "MorroW" Andersson by 2-0.
The Zerg player HayprO drew the short straw in the bracket seeding, as he was faced against former team mate and long-time Swedish rival Tobias "ZpuX" Nilsson in the semis. The Mousesports player from Malmö, Sweden could however go through by a 2-1 score to reach the final and claim his prize.
The other side of the brackets saw the fourth quarter final winner Saafen, an unknown Swedish player, against MorroW. While the Terran MorroW quickly disposed his opponent by 2-0, the grand final turned out to be a too tough a task.
The two finalists had faced each other earlier in the tournament, at the very first qualifier held in Stockholm. Then, StarCraft 2 was the game and MorroW was the winner. Today the hardcore StarCraft fans saw a return to StarCraft: Brood War as the beta has been down for a couple of weeks.
20,000 SEK (~2,000€) is what HayprO will be going home with this time, and another memory of success from the Elmia halls in Jönköping.
MorroW, who avenged himself after last winter's fourth place, won 5,000 SEK (~500€) after his second place.
